Apply With N100m for Job of N56.2m? Nigerians Query APC

 

 

“The annual salary of the President of Nigeria is N14,058, 820: 00k. In four years, it will be N56,235, 280: 00k. I don’t understand how anyone will apply for a job with N100 million just to earn N56,235, 280: 00k.”

 

Some Nigerians have queued the Nigerian ruling All Progressives Party (APC) for selling its presidential nomination form for N100 million.

They queried the modality for someone to procure a form for job he or she will earn N56 million in four years at the rate of N100 million.

A WhatsApp message received by Platforms Africa, which has been shared widely by some lawyers, journalists, artisans and otherd on all social media networks hinted at how scandalous it will be for an aspirant who is sure the President earn only N14,058, 820: 00k (fourteen million, fifty eight thousand, eight hundred and twenty naira only) i one year to apply for a form at N100 million.

The message reads; “The annual salary of the President of Nigeria is N14,058, 820: 00k (fourteen million, fifty eight thousand, eight hundred and twenty naira only).

The message

“In four years, it will be N56,235, 280: 00k (fifty six million, two hundred and thirty five thousand, two hundred and eighty naira only).

“I don’t understand how anyone will apply for a job with N100 million just to earn N56,235, 280: 00k.”

As at the last count, the message with no known author has been forwarded many times on WhatsApp and Facebook by prominent users like ADEGBENRO Adebanjo, among others.

It would be recalled that APC has oegged it nomination form at N100 million each for aspirant willing to take part in its Presidential Primaries.

Those who have declared interest include APC Leader and two-term ex-governor of Lagos, Bola Tinubu; vice president, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo, Transports minister, Rotimi Anaechi, governor of Kogi state, Yahays Bello.
